Emergency Student Funding Request

Student Emergency Funds are available for students experiencing financial emergencies related to housing, food, health care, and materials required for classes in the current online instruction environment. (This is not an exhaustive list.) These Emergency Funds are available thanks to generous donations from donors.

Schedule an Appointment Online

Request an appointment with a Student Care Case manager. Appointments can take up to 2 days to confirm; critical, non-medical needs will be prioritized above all other appointments. If you need immediate assistance, please give us a call at 509-335-5757 instead. For medical care, contact Cougar Health Services.

Concerned About a Student?

Submit a Student Care Network Referral regarding a student’s emotional or psychological well-being, physical health, or academic performance. When students are in distress, early intervention can make a big difference in outcomes.

Food Pantry

Students can fill out this form to request food or call  (509) 335-5757. Donations are welcome to the WSU Pullman Food pantry, and can be directed to the Office of the Dean of Students. *Please refer to the map below for directions to the Lighty Building east side entrance.

Food Pantry Go Bags

The Office of the Dean of Students, the Women's Resource Center, and the Office for Access & Opportunity are partnering to provide a central location on the Pullman campus for food pantry services.

Food Pantry Go Bags are a way to provide food while respecting social distancing guidelines to keep all members of our community safe. We will do our best to ensure each bag contains a variety of protein, carbohydrates, vegetables, fruit, and snacks. We also have a limited supply of hygiene items and safer sex supplies.

Students should call the Dean of Students office at (509) 335-5757 once they arrive on campus and a staff member will meet them at their vehicle with a pre-packaged bag.

Donations

We are so appreciative of the greater Coug community with their on-going interest to support the food pantry on the Pullman campus. Due to these changing and uncertain times, more and more of our WSU undergraduate and graduate students are seeking food and hygiene assistance. Monetary donations received will be used to replenish, as needed, our pantry’s inventory of food items such as grains, proteins, soups, canned vegetables and fruits, and other non-perishable items to help meet the needs of students utilizing this resource.

Donations can be directed to our Division of Student Affairs | WSU Pullman Food Pantries for Students Fund here with an indication that this specific donation is to support the food pantry. We thank you for your continued support and generosity.
